how do i get rid of static when recording on pc?
using a tube mp pre amp, pop filter, and sterling st55 class A fet mic, whether i use audacity or acid pro 7 i still get static, and i can barely hear myself when i listen to recording, i have to amp voice by like 15 to hear it and makes static even worse, any settings on amp or my programs ii can fix to get rid of static and hear myself better without amping?
It would be best to consult a mic supplier.. it sounds too specialized.
