Memories Are Made Of This

Everyone hoards a copious amount of photos that we as amateurs will ‘snap' as we encounter a

‘happening' worth remembering.  Many an album has brought untold embarrassment to a young person

When Mum gets the family photos out to show a partner, or friend what you were like when a child, and

Oh God, there you are in all your glory, naked on a rug.

Photography goes far beyond the mechanics of focus, exposure, and composition, it requires craft and

professionalism, ensuring that the finished images will be delivered on time, on budget, and looking just

perfect.

More and more people are seeking a professional studio to take special photos of newborn babies,

children, parents on their special anniversary, weddings, pets, and not only do they store in beautiful

albums, but give that special photo for a Christmas or Birthday present.

Lacey's Studios in Acocks Green West Midlands is owned by Louise Donald and has been for over 16 years,

with a combination of creative flair and new techniques has moved Laceys into the digital age which keeps

them head and shoulders above the competition.  An all encompassing service includes traditional or

contemporary style portrait photographs for babies, children, families, pets, and passports, and of course

can create wonderful memories of your wedding, photos taken professionally by their wedding

photographers.

Wedding photographs are very precious, so don't be tempted to use a part-time or unqualified wedding

photographer, you may not get what you want.  The Master Photographers Association (MPA) is the UK's

only trade body exclusively for full-time professional wedding, portrait and commercial photographers, and

Laceys Studios photographers in Birmingham and Solihull boasts not only being a member of MPA, also a

member of the British Institute of Professional Photography (BIPP) and has over 20 years experience in

the photography industry.

Laceys Studios was established in 1895 by two sisters who were originally hand painting portrait artists.

After the studio burnt down in 1907 it was rebuilt and sold on in 1925, and in 1977 the business moved to

Acocks Green where it was sold to the present owner, and now after all these years a lady photographer is

once more at the helm.

Memories are made of this, every twist and turn of life's road there is a milestone that we need to record

visually, all those happy times, memories are like a chest of precious gems, and we love to open the chest

and take one out, polish it, and gaze at it with shear joy.

Trust Laceys Studios to take care of all your photo calls, with a huge portfolio of services on offer they are

one of the UK's top professional photographers.

Can using a flat iron cause your hair to thin or fall out?

I use the maxi glide about twice per week on my hair. I have been doing so for about four years. My hair used to be really really thick. I used to have to thin it with thinning shears a lot. I haven't done that since last year...anyways my hair is super thin now, although still frizzy, and it's really noticeable (to me, not others) when I am combing my hair or putting it up in hair ties. I am wondering if the straightener could have caused this, or perhaps where I keep my hair up all the time?

I think it may look thinner because your hair may have turned a little straighter. And as for the falling out, if you use heat protectant you shouldn't worry about it. You also don't straighten it too much so i think your hair is fine.
