how to connect a washing machine with 2 intake pipes to a modern 1 outtake pipe?
Hi,
I'm moving into a newly build flat and i am trying to install a washing machine that's a few years old. As such, the pipe being fed from the water supply is only 1 and my washing has 2 - 1 for cold and 1 for hot.
I have noticed splitters (y adaptors) on the market but these are for connecting multiple appliances to one outlet. How to get around this? Many Many Thanks.

The 'y' adapter is what you need. It will allow cold water to enter the hot and cold inlets of your washing machine. Your machine will then heat the water to the correct temperature. You might have to buy another rubber pipe so you can connect it all up - should cost less that £5.
