Ive made short films, published potery and even produced a non - profit TV show, I'am truly gifted but I'am at a corssroads or impasse..
I'am not sure what to do next in my artistic - life - I feel forced being in my 40 to make a "successful" something and produce and income from it..but actully I'am kinda fried yeah fried on writing and painting and creating...
do I need a break ?

hey babe i know how you feel, i write but occasionally i have to take a break sometimes six months or more. otherwise i tie myself in knots. Just try to chill out find and interest out side the creative, i usually end up volunteering for digs (that degree comes in handy lol) or doing something for the local community last time it was doing guided tours round our local cathedral i still felt i was achieving something and it got me out of my own little world. hope this helps love to you.
