Cheap Flights to Kenya, Scheduled Flights To National Parks &Reserves; Including Tanzania & Uganda
Kenya is a home of ammamals, reptiles, insects, flowers & trees which attracts many tourists to come for holiday and visit the national parks & reserves to see them.
There two main means of transport to the national parks & reserves namely road and air transport. When using road transport you will have to choose from Prados, Pajeros, Landcruisers, Tour Van, RAV4, Landrovers, Trucks and this will depend with your budget. There several air charter companies which afew provide scheduled services and the rest private charter flights into and from the national parks & reserves.
Road Transport.
For low budget travelers you can use the Tour Van which is charged at kshs 26=00 per kilometer and you will have to pay the driver kshs 1,00=00 per day plus his meals and accommodation for the number of days you will be on safari. The other vehicles which are 4 wheel drive you will be charged at usd 250=00 per day excluding drivers allowance, meals and fuel for the vehicle. It will work out cheaper to take the full package including transport, accommodation, meals, and park entry fees other than purchasing each product separately. For the truck since it is not regularly used prices are only given on request. You will only be able to get English speaking drivers but for other languages a special charge will apply and confirmation has to be done in advance as they are on high demand.
Air Transport
Special Return Fares to the National Parks (valid until June 15, 2010)
Breaking News for special fares for groups of 10 and above only from Nairobi to Masai Mara,Amboseli,Samburu,Nanyuki,Loisaba,Kiwayu,Naivasha,Shaba,Tsavo West,Kilimanjaro,Lamu,Lewa Downs,Diani (Ukunda),Mombasa,Malindi among other destinations on scheduled flights.
The above rates are subject to change should the government increases fuel prices or cost per mile then we will adjust the above rates accordindly.Baggage allowance will be strictly 15 kilos per person in soft bags unless there is space then you can take it as freight at usd 5=00 per kilo or alternatively you can book a seat for your cargo whereby 1 seat represents 75 kilos of freight. These rates are exclusive of passenger airport departure tax of usd 7=00 per person one-way for local and usd 20=00 per person for international. These offer is valid until June 15,2010 so please hurry up and take advantage of these special flights fares as from June 15 it will be high season and the prices will go up.
There are also special charter rates based on per hour rate for scenic flights ,aerial survey & Photography Flights, sight seeing flights ,filming flights as below
These scenic flight, aerial survey & photography flights, filming flights rates are valid for one year unless the government increases cost per mile or fuel then the above rates will be adjusted accordingly. Bookings have to be made at least one month in advance as the aircrafts that do these flights are scarce and on high demand and last minute bookings will be subject to availability of aircraft at that time. Helicopters are also available at usd 1,950=00 per hour for tourists and for non-tourists 16% V.A.T will be charged extra on the total cost of the charter based on 5 seater only as they are the only ones in the market.
You can get contractual rates depending on the volume of work provide in amonth and for a period not less than 6 month.
There are also high exclusive corporate and V.I.P flights using helicopter and fixed wing aircrafts tailor-made to meet each customers need. Extra services on 10 seater and above can be provided upon request like providing flight attendant, special meals, drinks etc.
