I was just curious. I noticed that most fighter pilots in the Air Force wear face masks that feed them oxygen when they are crusing at high altitude due to thin air. However, I do not see pilots for commercial airliners or Air Force cargo planes wear face masks while crusing at high altitude.??????WHY????

Airliners are pressurized, and as long as it works, pilots need no masks -
The cabin altitude is equivalent to 7 or 8,000 feet in cruise -
Fighter pilots cockpits have reduced pressurization and need masks -
But the pressurization is equivalent to 20 or 25,000 feet -
So they need masks, except at low altitude -
In airliners, in case of pressurization failure, pilots would use masks -
